The basis of the protective structure of body armor is made up of the excellently proven armor panels Ermak Br5 and Ermak Br4 made of ceramic elements with gap-free interfacing for high bullet resistance (up to 8-12 shots per panel; up to 4 shots per 1 dm2) from all main types of modern long-barreled weapons, in including the use of ammunition with heat-strengthened steel and tungsten cores. ;
Armored plates of the “Ermak” series are certified in accordance with GOST 34286-2017 (modern russian standard) and their quality is confirmed official documents on tests in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Serbia, as well by constant testing of “enthusiasts” using the most powerful ammunition as part of a complete body armor structure (with “CAP”* and ballistic protection), and an independent element of protection (Stand alone). Our flagship body armor has the latest unified attachment systems and compartment sizes to accommodate armor plates of a wide size range with the ability to adjust the suspension height of the armor plate.
* CAP – new anti-traumatic dampers
New figured anti-trauma dampers (CAPs) are advantageous and noticeably different from everything that was used before their appearance. In addition to the innovative shape with differentiated damping for the costal zone and the abdominal cavity, the design uses new combinations of UHMWP and ballistic tissues, new materials with improved damping properties and shape memory effect, which allows their repeated use.
In the process of producing ballistic protection, new combinations of UHMWP and design solutions were used that improve the effectiveness of protection in peripheral zones due to the interaction of filaments between layers of ballistic aramid fabrics, increasing the effective area of protection, as well as retaining the shape, preventing slipping when wet and contributing to the reduction of “BFS” (over armor injury trauma) without damage the flexibility of the element and the general ergonomics of body armor as a whole. All materials are subject to strict incoming inspection.
